Nikka 92nd Anniversary Dinner
Celebrate 92 years of Nikka Whisky with a special whisky dinner honouring one of Japan’s most influential and beloved whisky producers.
Hosted in the Leichhardt Room on Thursday 30 July, this evening will explore the heritage, craftsmanship and distinctive flavours of Nikka Whisky, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, often recognised as the Father of Japanese Whisky.
Guests will enjoy a two-course dinner paired with five premium Nikka whiskies, including limited and rare bottlings. Across the evening, you’ll learn more about the rise of Japanese whisky, Nikka’s place in that story, and how Taketsuru’s journey from Japan to Scotland helped shape whisky history.
Whisky Lounge Masterclasses
Whisky Lounge Mudgeeraba is hosting a series of whisky masterclasses for 2026, giving Gold Coast whisky lovers the chance to explore unique themed tastings in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

An Evening with Lark
Step into the timeless elegance of Roosevelt Lounge for an exclusive whisky dinner celebrating one of Australia’s most awarded distilleries, Lark Distillery.
Hosted on the Gold Coast for one night only, this intimate event pairs a carefully curated four-course menu with a guided tasting of Lark whiskies. Each course has been designed to highlight the depth, character and craftsmanship behind Tasmania’s iconic whisky collection.
Guests will also receive a 100ml bottle of Lark Whisky and a Glencairn glass to take home, with the option to add an additional 100ml bottle and glass for $60.
Sullivans Cove Whisky Tasting
oin Death & Taxes Brisbane for an exclusive guided tasting celebrating the remarkable craftsmanship of Sullivans Cove, Australia’s most awarded single malt whisky distillery.
This intimate afternoon tasting will explore a curated selection of rare and highly sought-after Sullivans Cove expressions, spanning single casks through to older and rarer releases. Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing Sullivans Cove American Oak Second-fill highball, before settling in for a guided tasting of five exceptional whiskies.
Across the tasting, guests will explore the influence of different cask types, maturation styles and flavour profiles, including French Oak, Double Cask and the outstanding 23 Year Old American Oak ex-Bourbon.
Whisky Whisky 2026
Whisky Whisky returns to Fish Lane for its fifth edition, bringing more than 100 Australian and international whiskies from 30+ brands to South Brisbane for an afternoon of dream drams, good food and excellent company.
Set beneath the train tracks at Hello Please in Fish Lane, this event gives guests access to a huge whisky line-up across two 2.5-hour sessions. Each ticket includes tastings from the whisky partners, lunch from Hello Please, a Whisky Whisky branded take-home glass, bottled water and one dream-dram token to use on a rare, special or top-shelf pour.
Guests can also purchase additional dream-dram tokens, enjoy beers and non-alcoholic drinks, test their luck on the Whisky Whisky claw machine, or choose from ticket and bottle bundles featuring the Whisky by Whisky Whisky single cask independent bottling.
Sullivans Cove Whisky Tasting
Join Ally Bhana from Sullivans Cove at Barrels & Stills for a guided tasting exploring one of the world’s most celebrated whisky distilleries.
Designed as an introduction to the Sullivans Cove range, this masterclass will explore the influence of oak, cask style and the distillery’s distinctive spirit character. Beginning with the award-winning Double Cask, guests will journey through Sullivans Cove’s signature American Oak and French Oak styles while learning how different cask types and the distillery’s unique worm tub spirit shape flavour, texture and character.
Across the evening, Ally will also share the history of Sullivans Cove and its role as a pioneer in both Australian and international whisky over the past 32 years. This tasting offers a thoughtful look at the craftsmanship, patience and attention to detail that have earned Sullivans Cove global acclaim.

Morris Whisky Dinner
Maleny Hotel is hosting a special Morris Whisky Dinner, bringing together a five-course menu crafted to complement a selection of Morris Australian single malt whiskies.
Guests will enjoy an evening of carefully matched food and whisky pairings, beginning with a canapé on arrival before moving through a menu featuring cured ocean trout, local black pudding, scotch egg, braised beef short rib and a citrus syllabub dessert. Each course has been paired with a different Morris expression, showcasing the distillery’s rich fortified wine cask influence and Australian whisky character.
Winter Whisky Feast 2026
Highwayman Whisky’s Winter Whisky Feast returns to Byron Bay for a huge day of whisky, food and new releases at Highwayman HQ.
Across a series of two-hour sessions, guests will enjoy a cocktail on arrival, an in-depth tour through production, and a seated masterclass hosted by Dan, featuring six Highwayman whiskies. The event also includes a new barrel-aged cocktail tasting, a generous winter feast with three meats, three sides and dessert, plus the launch of a new Highwayman whisky.
The day will also feature a pop-up shop loaded with new stock, the launch of the Highwayman Hellraisers private whisky club memberships, and the chance to explore extra options including bottling your own whisky from two different barrels, purchasing previous sold-out batches, Highwayman merch and clothing, and unreleased Highwayman releases.
